Each day that goes by subsequent to the accident lowers the chances of a collision attorney having the ability to make a highly effective accident case. The primary reason for this is because crash evidence could get lost, contaminated or irrelevant as a consequence of numerous factors. It’s essential that auto wreck victims or their loved ones document the scene of the accident with crash scene photographs and make sure to get contact information from any witness were saw the accident happen. Such evidence may be crucial in successfully defending the rights of traffic accident victims and needs to be “preserved” so that it will be admissible in court. For additional tips about the way to collect and preserve accident evidence, consult a knowledgeable, diligent personal injury lawyer today.

One of the factors we find to be a common contributor to car and Semi-trailer crashes is the level of training a trucking company gives it’s drivers before they allow them to climb behind the wheel of an eighty thousand pound Semi-trailer. You’ll see trucking schools, you’ll see driver training schools, but the responsibilities of the trucking companies don’t end there. Once you have your commercial drivers license you still have an obligation and the trucking company you work for still has an obligation to continually train you on driver sleepyness issues, on equipment limit issues, how the trucks function, how well they function, many of the different issues having to do with piloting an eighty thousand pound Semi-trailer at sixty five miles an hour down our nations highways.

Whiplash injuries are especially common in rear-end automobile accidents. Whiplash is the term used to describe the motion of the neck when an impact causes the head to be “snapped” (moved quickly in a direction opposite the direction of impact). It is also known as CAD (cervical acceleration/deceleration) trauma or syndrome. The sudden sharp movement can cause damage to the joints of the neck, as well as the nerves, muscles, and discs. In extreme cases, not only is the neck damaged, but the brain is also bruised. These injuries can include dizziness, headache, pain in the body and arms, and, in the case of brain injury, blurred vision, tinnitus, nausea, vertigo, and numbness.

Your personal injury could result in costly medical expenses and physical therapy. You might be unable to work or perform other regular tasks. Getting your bills paid and staying on top of your finances can become difficult. You shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s mistakes. You shouldn’t have to suffer due to someone else’s reckless behavior.

Cyclist accidents in the Chicago area and throughout Illinois happen far too often. Each year, thousands of bicyclists sustain serious injuries, often due to mistakes made by careless drivers. News reports are far too common about cyclists being hurt or killed because a driver “doored” the rider – opened the door of a parked automobile right in front of a cyclist.

Waco Texas fertilizer plant explosion Cases Predicted News 12

At least one U.S. congressman and many safety experts raised questions about whether incomplete disclosure to the Department of Homeland Security may have contributed to the explosion. In a statement, Mississippi Congressman Bennie Thompson said: “It seems this manufacturer was willfully off the grid. This facility was known to have chemicals well above the threshold amount to be regulated under the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards Act (CFATS), yet we understand that DHS did not even know the plant existed until it blew up.”

Thompson went on to say: “I strongly believe that if the proper safeguards were in place, as are at thousands of (DHS) CFATS-regulated plants across the country, the loss of life and destruction could have been far less extensive.”

West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion lawyers who will fight for your compensation

A shocking and devastating Waco Texas fertilizer plant explosion in the town of West resulted in at least 14 deaths and hundreds of injuries. While an investigation is underway, violations and incomplete disclosure by the West Fertilizer Co. are raising questions about whether the fertilizer plant operators may be liable for injuries, wrongful death and property damage.

The fertilizer plant exploded on April 17 in the small farming community about 20 miles north of Waco, creating a mushroom cloud and flames that filled the sky. Shortly before the blast, firefighters who were battling a blaze at the West Fertilizer Co. began evacuating people from the immediate area.

In addition to the fatalities and injuries, the explosion leveled a four-to-five block area around the plant. Between 50 and 75 homes, a middle school and a nursing home were destroyed. Some nursing home residents were trapped in the rubble.
